SCHOLARSHIPS ARE OFFERED ANNUALLY IN THE SPRING WITH AN APPLICATION DEADLINE OF MAY 1
The Rotary Club of Schenectady is pleased to announce the 2026 scholarship contest. Two scholarships will be awarded, each $1500. Each winner will receive their award in person at a regular Thursday Schenectady Rotary Club meeting.
Scholarships will be awarded based on the following criteria:
- Applicants must reside in City of Schenectady or attend Schenectady High School.
- Applicants must be officially accepted into an accredited degree program, such as associate or bachelor’s degree, at a community college or university, or be officially accepted into an accredited certificate program at a school or training facility.
- Applicants must present clear career plans and a scheduled time frame expected to achieve their educational goals.
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Note – The scholarships will be awarded based on merit. Financial need, however, will be taken into consideration when all other factors are equal among applicants.
The deadline to submit applications is May 1, 2026. Submit ONE original and a digital copy of the original application.
