On June 20, 2025, the Schenectady Rotary Club was recognized with a Community Champion Award at a Keane Elementary School Assembly. We are grateful for this recognition and thrilled that so many Keane students have improved their attendance this year. Many of my fellow Rotarians volunteer at Keane or for Keane, and our Cornhole for a Cause tournament raises funds to support our activities there, including incentives for attendance and the Scholastic Book Fair at which we volunteered to help students choose their books – and purchased a book for every student.
