The Schenectady Rotary Club is a proud part of this community and of Rotary International. Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million members who believe that great things happen when dedicated minds come together.
We are community and business leaders representing different professions, experiences, and perspectives but with a shared desire to connect with others to address the challenges affecting our community and communities around the world.

Schenectady Rotary has stood the test of time – serving Schenectady and the surrounding areas for over 100 years. To commemorate our 100th anniversary, we decided to leave a lasting memorial. Thus the Rotary Centennial Clock idea was born.
The Club will be gifting the clock to the City of Schenectady as an everlasting memorial.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Schenectady Rotary Club has stood the test of time by serving Schenectady and our surrounding communities for over 100 years.

The club is actively involved in youth programs and recently launched the Journey to Success program at Steinmetz Career and Leadership Academy.  The program provides career education, mentoring, a free clothing room.

Schenectady is growing and there is a resurgence of economic development
happening all around the county.  This growth is most obvious on Erie Boulevard with the addition of Rivers Casino and Mohawk Harbor.  The clock will be placed on this revitalized stretch of road near the entrance to the walkway from Erie Boulevard to Jay Street.

The clock will be four-sided with plaques on each side.  Schenectady Rotary Club is offering an opportunity for you to leave your mark by purchasing your place on the clock. The clock holds four plaques accommodating up to 25 inscriptions per plate.  Your name, your family’s name, your business name, or an entry in honor or memory of a loved-one can be engraved on the plaque and be a part of Schenectady history for all time.

A donation of $250 gives you a naming opportunity on the clock, a donation of $500 gives you an both your name on the clock and a miniature replica of the clock (without logo or engraving).

Permanently join the revitalization of the City.

We are seeking donations to bring this projection to fruition.  Your tax deductible donation can be made payable to Schenectady Rotary Foundation, PO Box 346, Schenectady, NY 12301.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
